Smallville: Series Finale
Will Lois walk down the aisle? Will Clark stand up to DARKSEID? Meanwhile, APOKOLIPS roars Earthward. And a familiar Luthor resurfaces. But a hero in a soon-familiar outfit of red, blue and yellow also emerges. Look up. And long may the legend be told.

My Thoughts:
I know a lot of people at different sites didn't like this series finale. This just means that I am once again in what appears to be the minority. As I personally loved every minute of it! I must have watched this finale 6 or 7 times since the original airing. And I am still glued to the set as I watch the episode. I am so glad that this series got a proper ending. After being on the air for 10 years it deserved one. Though I would have liked to seen a better view of him in the Superman outfit then what they gave us. Everything was either from such a distance or up so close that you really could get that good of a view of it. That did take away from it a little for me.

My Rating: 4.5/5

I saw "Captain America" in 3D in the theater and didn't think it added anything. In fact, I've sworn off 3D movies since that film. Just a waste of money.

Completely agree. Saw it in 3D (and even though I loved the movie, I'm with Addicted, I'd give it a full star rating, whatever star rating system you use!!) and the 3D added NOTHING to the film. There was one shot in the film, where his shield flies at the camera that was enhanced by 3D, other than that, there was no need for the film to be 3D.

CRAZY excited for The Avengers. I've been a comic fan, a fanboy, a geek etc. etc. since about the age of 7 when I picked up my first comic book ever (it was West Coast Avengers Annual #2) and I've never looked back. I've LOVED, and I mean, LOOOOOOOOOOVED every single film leading up to The Avengers (my favorite being Captain America which is up until this point, what I consider to be the best Comic Book film ever made, and my least favorite being Iron Man 2 which I thought was just a bit much action over plot) and I can't wait to see what Joss Whedon and the cast have done. I remember being a kid and fantasizing about an Avengers movie, and it's finally happening. Best of all:

A 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes? Not only is it a dream come true, but it seems like it's actually going to be an amazin freakin' movie!!! 47 reviews and 45 of them are positive? Awesome! Just one more week and I get to see my childhood heroes all up on the screen, kicking some serious @$$! Love it!!!
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

My Thoughts:
This is a series I liked a lot when it originally aired... unfortunately it seems not many agreed with me since it was canceled after the first season. I have been a big fan of Julie Benz since her Buffy/Angel days (Darla). And she was of course also in Dexter as Rita as well. I also found I like Autumn Reeser as Stephanie's lab assistant/friend. She is someone I really didn't know until this series. I enjoyed all the episodes on this disc quite a bit... but my favorite episode would have to be the pilot with them first getting and discovering their powers.

My Rating: 4.5/5
