I been using this computer for a couple weeks now... and I have to say... I can't believe the difference with DVD Profiler alone!

I timed the opening of DVD Profiler on  both the old and new computer....

Old Computer: 5 Min!!! (which I been used to for quite a while now)
New Computer: 15 Seconds!!!!

For the record... between Owned, Ordered and Wishlist sections... and between parent and child profiles I have 6,222 profiles.

And the opening isn't the only difference. Filtering is super fast... so is bring up cast and crew names in the edit screen come right up... where before I would have the whole name typed before the first 2 or 3 letters showed. Now it works as you would expect.

I tell ya... I think I am now more in love with DVD Profiler then I was before!

5 minutes ? I'm surprised you lived with that for so long . Geeeze...what kind of PC did you have before...an abacus?

I've got 5,000+ profiles and even on my old Dell Dimension 4100 desktop it never took that long to load. I am envious though. On my Acer Aspire 8730 laptop it still takes an excruciatingly long 30 seconds to load DVD Profiler   .

Congrats on the new puter. Glad it's working out for you .
