... how do you say that in English?

"That."

Best post in the thread.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

If the job of the pacemaker for Makau was to run 350 100 meters in under 18 seconds perpetually, how do you say that in English?

That would be app. 70.000 Km/h
I'd call that Mach 57 (57 times Speed of Sound)

There seems to be a complete misunderstanding here. No human can run that fast, not even a Nigerian. Aside from the fact that there was no sonic boom. What do you think? That the pacemaker formerly worked as police crime-lab technologist in Central City but suffered a serious accident and now makes easy money in running events?

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.
