Unless I was missing something from when I was attempting to add this title to their database I don't recall seeing any section to add notes so that I could state where I got the data from. It's likely because of that they turned it down.

So there is some sort of verification process that IMDB uses and does turn data even accurate ones.

I've tried for at least 5+ years to add a movie title to the IMDB database. It was a movie that even aired on the USA cable network. I tried multiple times over the course of perhaps a year, and my old submission still shows as "pending" after all these years. All of the data was accurate and I can see no problems at all with the submission. The film is still not in the database.

One reason why I never bother submitting anything at all to IMDB, it's a headache to even fill out their forms.
