| Posted: | | | | I think that I would be in for a program change instead.
I think the child profile should point to the parent profile image, instead of scanning individual images. (unless there are image sets included with the child profile).
I think a program option could be made on a per child profile level (possibly setting a default option), that way, the person always sees his image (Disc ID Profiles only)

There is one thing he missed: I entered the boxset with the alien's egg (8010312090783) not the one he said. This is a very particular case (not unique) where exactly the same discs are included in both box sets! So, why I should see in my collection the cover of another box set? Does not make sense at all! Furthermore, the main purpose of adding a cover image is to identify at a glance the movie you are looking for. If every movie has the same image the cover is no longer useful. Of course this is just my opinion but now you have all the elements to understand why I posted those images. I think an exception should be added to the rule. I understand what you're saying but the rules are what they are. You can keep the disc scans for your local, just lock the images and they'll stay, even through upgrades and reinstallations on new computers and such. I have the US egg, and just use original poster scans for the child profiles locally. I hate looking at the same picture over and over in a boxset. |

| Posted: | | | | Going strictly by the rules, since the Egg set was released before the regular Blu-ray box set, all the child profiles (containing exactly the same discs and disc ID) should have the image of the Egg as the cover image. I don't think majority of the users would want that. But them's the rules, if you want to abide by the letter of the rules. | | | My Home Theater |

I, like bigdaddyhorse, have the movie posters as the cover images for my child profiles of both the Egg Set as well as the Box Set. So it doesn't bother me, but I can see how it might spell trouble for some OCD users. | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | The movie poster could be the best choice for me too. Even in case of just one box... Better than same image replicated | | | Last edited: by CyberPaul |

On a side note, both versions, the egg and box, were released on the same day here in the states so, for something like that, I would go with the scans of the more common version. I would not be against having an exception for this in the rules. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
