Invelos has decided that the credits indeed read La Voy & La Vonn, and accordingly "corrected" the online entries "exactly as credited".
bbbbb degraded, case closed. Where exactly is that decision? I don't see it. TIA. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

The space is an optical illusion because of the shape of the letters. In case you're wondering why I'm so positive, it's because I have been in printing and typesetting for 45 years. I'm not doubting this, but it does raise the question... Why doesn't it work in reverse. Like for Evan, the V and A seem to invading each others space. Think I just answered my own question though, probably due to the A being lower case in these names, and both upper case in the others. |

You are correct with your own answer and sometimes people will do what is called kerning...removing optical space between 2 letters such as V and A which will then be overlapped when the vertical straight line is drawn. I do this all the time in desktop publishing. Edit: I should have mentioned that some programs have automatic kerning. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. | | | Last edited: by mreeder50 |
