For what it's worth, I voted "Not Sure".

The reason is, I do like the additional data.

Which is technically a flawed vote, because the poll question asks if it is against the rules, not if you think it should, or should not, be.

Of course most of us are more concerned with how it should be rather than how it currently happens to stand. And thus in which way (if any) the rules should be adjusted to represent.

But, I can not stand when such data is incomplete. If there is not enough room on the divider field for complete and accurate data then I prefer it not be entered.

If it cuts off, then I agree. but in these cases there are at least reasonable ways around that; initials, getting rid of the unnecessary waffle etc. But I agree entirely; whenever possible include the whole thing as written.

If Ken expands the field to allow all of the extended information then I would like it.

How much of a problem is this anyway? How often is the character limit actually exceeded in credits?
60 characters is rather long, as long as this sentence even.

And it is not the first.

But you are right, most of the time standard (accepted) abbreviations will get you clear

The poll results are so helpful, aren't they?!?

We would be a bad democracy.  ~60% to 40% would this be enough to win an election?

It would over on this side of the pond.  Over here you can win the election by one vote.

I understand it is done differently in other countries.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

To be perfectly clear, you can lose the popular vote and still win the election...at least for President you can.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
