Quote: Oh please, Martian. Give me a break, sometimes your parsing drives me crazy. you know damn good and well, what the idea is, NO UNIT or 2mnd Crew. Please do not presume to tell me what I do or do not know. I have explained my position, which I believe is further supported by the Divider rule..."Also use Group dividers for crew teams." If you don't agree, don't agree. I have no problem with that. I would like to revisit this. While I do not think group dividers would work, but we do use Episode dividers for restoration crews. What would be the difference in location crews. If we exclude the location crews, we will be leaving out many SFX, Makeup Costumers, etc. I just did Angels& Demons. There was an Italy Crew and a UK crew, besides the second units. Roger Rabbit did this also. I am sure many more. Charlie |

| Posted: | | | | I like the idea of restoration crews as I tried to introduce this a year or so ago and got shot down Real fast.. Restoration group dividers for say James C. Katz and Robert A. Harris who handled numerous titles such as Spartacus , My Fair Lady ,Lawrence of Arabia, Vertigo Rear Window., and what else? The Godfather films? Point is Their names are there in the CREW ( in the End credits Under Restoration and should be added -- as this is DVD profiler not Movie Profiler ... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. I don't understand this as I have numerous profiles downloaded from the database that contain Restoration crew. As long as the jobs are still valid I see nothing in the rules to disallow them. Similarly with the idea of location crew, although I see the point of view of classing them as unit crew. Very often unit crew will have their own director, perhaps we can say that location crew are allowed as long as no separate director is listed (ie. the film's director did the directing there). What do you think? |
