I resent that!  I am a very good driver!

Yes, I see your little black car parked very tastefully at the back wall.

WARNING!  Incoming SLAP........

This is a user build db, so the work hasn't to be done by one single person only.

If only people thought this way.

However, in my experience, most people will let others do all the work for them and just sit back and benefit from the hard work of others.

The members of this forum are the exception, in my opinion.

One reason to do everything except cast & crew is that you can generally do most everything else without a drive.  If I were to contribute to a blu-ray, I would never do cast/crew because I have no blu-ray drive and therefore can't verify the information.  Everything else could be taken from the package.

One might also do the rest of the info and submit without cast & crew for time.  It takes much more time to do cast/crew than to do the rest of the fields and someone might not have that much time to spare but can get the rest done and hope another contributor will get the rest later.

That's what I generally do if I'm contributing a new profile. I get as much info as I can that's easily available (usually from the package), then after I watch it I add the cast & crew and make corrections if nesessary (I recently discovered that running times can be WAY off at times)

Not sure about this - I'm seeing quite a few contributions by people that don't post on the forums. Of course, your mileage may vary...

I see many members doing (most times) good contributions that i never see writing a post in the forum. But it's right that often the forum posters are doing also many work on the database.

Btw: Hope Danae's driving is better than my English.    (Don't take it wrong  )
