In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

I was born on the same day as the first moon walk.  My son was born on the same day as the 2nd moon walk.

So, you were born on July 20th, 1969 and you son was born November 19th, 1969. How is that possible?

Same day, not the same year.

Well, since this is a discussion on generations, I assumed that you were born 1969 exactly the same day as the first moon walk. Using the expression "on the same day as" twice in consecutive sentences leads to funny conclusions.

BTW, I'm one of the Joneses (1961), even though I did not know that before I saw this thread.

When you are a member of the Silent Generation you are allowed to reminisce a bit!

I Remember:

When the Iceman delivered by horse and wagon.

When Moving Companies packed household goods in wooden barrels.

When the Saturday Matinee cost 5cents.

The Penny Candy store.

Pearl Harbor.

1942 automobiles with wooden bumpers.

The Butcher store where my mother bought turkey skins with ration coupons.

The London Olympics.

When the Pistons were in Fort Wayne, the Rams were in Cleveland, and the NHL was the “Original Six”.

When a television season was 39 straight weeks of new shows.

When a Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing cost $7800 in the U.S.A.

Generations Jones 1963 for me. Always thought that I was the last of the Baby Boomers based on other classifications. Glad I'm not really....At least I have decent super and won't be a burden on the taxpayer.
