No, it is an opinion and it is an attack.  You know full well that, had you made that statement here in the forums, it would have been removed by a moderator.

Oh really? So where are the moderators now? This forum is getting (or have gone long time a go) far beyond a very bad joke...

As I just said, and I hope I am wrong, it looks like they might have weekends off.  I know that two threads were removed, fairly quickly, on Friday.  That is the only explanation I can come up with for why action hasn't been taken yet today...either that or there haven't been enough 'red arrows' passed out.

At this point, the moderators are nothing but figureheads because they have no power.

I'm by no means knocking the moderators, because I will admit it is a little nicer when the off topic posts are removed by the time I view a thread.

But there is no punishment system in place on this board or, if there is, it's not utilized. I see the same person / few people at the core of every single argument in these threads, but nothing ever seems to done about it, making the invelos forums (at least the contribution part of them) a very volatile place, when they could be much more helpful than they are now. TBH, if I had seen the jackassery that goes on these threads before I purchased the product, I would have not bothered giving Invelos my money because the way they allow their users/forum members to be treated seems to imply they don't really care, as it happens all the time, to the point where even the long standing members have a problem with it. There are a ton of questions that I have had, but never bothered to address in the open forum because I don't feel like the inevitable nonsense and bickering that will come with it.

What's wrong with dishing out suspensions? Hell, I've been suspended from boards before for things I've posted. Some I've gone back to because I liked the boards and wasn't such an ass, some I didn't bother, and I'm not above saying the boards were probably better off for it.

It would be nice if someone would handle the problem with a firm hand, instead of with kid gloves (which deleting threads basically is).

Okay, let's play without the kid gloves for once, then:

You are a pathetic, sad, little old man, and I refuse to deal with your nonsense and continued lies any further.

Over and out.

Wow, just wow.  I don't know what you hoped to accomplish, but all we are going to end up with is another thread that is going to be locked or edited.  This is really getting old.

I fear you are right. When somebody dares to tell the truth, moderators use their censorship skills. Those forums will not improve putting the cover on the pot, but taking measures against the user that makes quite all threads go wrong.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you.  At this point, it is fairly clear, that deleting and editing posts isn't working as well as was hoped.

I'll agree with temp bans but I think that perma bans should be reserved for Ken/Gerri.

IMO this whole thread should go as well. It seemed pretty predictable to me that this would get out of hand.

If, and note I say if, the OP was effectively directed at one particular user, then THAT should have been PMed also, instead of brought to the forum. If it wasn't, the rest of the thread certainly has gone in that direction, and for that reason alone it should be deleted. Either way it should go.

I don't agree that any thread (other than spam posts) should be deleted. That then goes far too much into censorship. I think it's better to edit posts as necessary, giving reasons (i.e. personal attack), and lock them if they get completely out of hand. Although that is still censorship, it's in a milder form & at least serves as a reminder of what Invelos doesn't want. If you delete the thread, people will forget about it quicker than if it's left but locked.

I wouldn't want Ken or Gerri banned permanently. They don't post that often anyway.

I made it a general post because it isn't just one particular user.  While one user has done this more often than others, I have seen other people do the same thing.  I would hate to see the thread deleted as it is a practice, calling users out, that none of us should be doing.  JMHO.

You asked for deletion of a recent post that didn't called nobody, but just wanted to clarify debates rather than promote in the back commentaries. You screamed about the fact that a PM was used (but without author name), arguing that the author of PM was easy to recognize, but you do exactly the same thing here, as everybody clearly see who is your target.

I can add that deleting a post that contains no personal attack, and is strictly per forum rules, without giving any reason to the author of the thread, is just censorship that makes nothing go better, but let think those who are censored that moderators prefer some users than others (which is now evident...)
