ROFLMAO, you clearly do not understand my droll sense of humor. I won't take shots at your party affiliation...though it is so tempting.

Think of me as the comic teasing the heckler...you knopw a little like Don Rickles...you hockey puck.

I know, I know, my jokes are bad. But If i fire my joke writer, I can't collect unemployment.

I understand your droll sense of humor, I suppose. A more accurate statement by me would be that I do not share the concept that torture is fun.

But I guess that two pages (eventually even more, one imagines) on a simple newbie question is fun.

(I'll leave it up to the reader if I intended to imply that the newbie was simple, or the question...  )

Well, considering that nearly half of page two is comprised by your posts alone then we probably will get to a third

Interesting that my comment which you quote also drew a negative vote...

(I woulda thought the rickroll would draw one...
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Has Invelos given thought to developing a "CD Profiler" that works the same was as DVD Profiler but for audio CDs?
Hello, and welcome! I notice that you haven't made subsequent posts, so I wanted to offer some encouragement and perspective. I haven't been around here for long either. I remember when I first joined, I asked an "obvious" question, and got totally creamed!

Well, I got over it, and have since observed why this program and database are noted to be the best in the industry - it is in no small measure due to the hard work and dedication of the user community ... that intensity is reflected in just about everything we do ... from the Joke Thread to raging discussions on politics, to death matches on the spelling of a last name, and yes, even sometimes a bruising welcome to a newbie.

So, hang in there with us, and don't be discouraged from continuing to make contributions to the Forum.

(Edit: note that I am not discounting the owner's work in any way - I was just making a point about the positive impact of the role of the users)

FWIW,
If anyone wants to send the next person who asks about CD Profiler my way by PM I might be able to help them.  I have a used & tried a number of CD/Book/Software cataloging programs, and would be glad to help them out.

Is it entertaining, or really a symptom that we tend towards to Masochism?

I guess we like living on the "Bleeding Edge" of technology!

You guys need to get a freaking life.  Why would I spend my own time (which I do not have a lot of and is therefore quite valuable) by searching this forum for an answer when I can just ask, and people like you will answer me?

This was a yes/no question people.  How long does it take to just answer it?  Instead, this thread is now 3+ pages of nonsense.  The funny thing is, until I got a private message on this topic, I had forgotten I even posted here.  You guys need to realize that your time is probably more wisely spent doing other things (i.e., working or spending time with your loved ones).  Unless it actually is not, in which case you are just losers.

I guess I've learned my lesson -- I'll never post here again -- just like some other infamous forums out there, you guys are just nasty for no reason.  You should be happy that "newbies" are discovering and buying a product you seem to support.  Although I don't know how one can be a newbie in the area of software consumption.

Interesting - you don't want to spend your time searching for an answer, but expect us to waste our time answering a question that has been asked repeatedly before?

I hope Ken won't  develop a CD profiler, ever...
I had 200 DVDs when I bought DVDProfiler; now, after only two years, I have 1500...
I have 350 CDs and no more shelf space...
So Ken, NO CDProfiler please!

I'm dreaming of a book profiler!
