What's wrong with "Escape from New York"?    I would have understood if you said that liking "Escape from L.A." was embarrassing...

Lots of guilty pleasures: BloodRayne, Death Stalker 2, Dark Angel (I Come in Peace) etc.

Lots that other people go "huh?": Charley Says (collection of UK Public Information Shorts), lots of children's stuff from when I was young (Bagpuss, Ivor the Engine) even though I don't have kids

... and I couldn't resist Lord of the G-Strings: Femaleship of the String

great cover.

Nothing that I'm really embarrassed of, I like all my movie. But some movies that break my reputation with my friends :

If you look what genre of movie I own those ones don't fit in my collection at all. The worst I've pre-order the new release of Xanadu

nothing wrong with Xanadu.

You might want to remove a couple of those images.  I don't believe nudity is allowed in the forums.

Don't see any nudity in any of the picture... don't tell me that a woman in sexy clothes is nudity for you.

Methinks bbursiek is making a valid point. Personally, I think each one of us has shows that we like, for whatever reasons, that our friends (the so-called "critics", or, society in general) tends to look down on. For example - I was tempted to reply with a group of movies, like Earth Girls Are Easy. It's a far, far cry from being one of the best movies in my collection - but somehow reminds me of a part of my life that I don't want to forget, my first year in college when I felt like my whole life was ahead of me and that I could do anything... (that was when a group of us went out drinking and happened to watch teh movie, so it always reminds me of the time, and the company I was keeping back then too.) Thing is - I'm not all that embarrassed by it at all.

Personally, I also really enjoyed Spanglish, and don't see what's so "embarrassing" about that one either.

Everyone has different tastes in movies - one guy's favorite movie is probably another guy's "worst pick of all times" ... and, without trying to sound like a high school guidance counselor - it's that kind of diversity that makes the world a really interesting place!

I'm a guy and I too own Gilmore Girls Seasons 1-7 but I am not embarrassed -- it was a great show -- funny and great writing!

I own Spanglish and don't see it as an embarrassing type of film but that's me.

I own Bring It On: All or Nothing as well and I agree Hayden Panettiere makes it worthwhile -- barely.

I own Barb Wire but have not seen it yet so I don't yet know exactly how embarrassed I should be yet!

My own most embarrasing owned film is hard to determine but I guess I'd pick

Bubble Boy

I know - I searched back and forth - in vain for this 'nudity'.

I couldn't find any anywhere..

Not at all.  The post, which was between mine and VMSmithe's, had cover scans with full frontal nudity.  It seems the powers that be deleted it.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Friends would argue that in my collection, I should be embarrassed by Freddy Got Fingered and Battlefield Earth (tbh, they'd argue more than that because they have boring mainstream/nerdy tastes), but I enjoy both (the first for its downright stupidity, and ability to get an extreme reaction from people; the latter for its campiness), but I'm embarrassed by neither.

What I should be embarrassed by, although most haven't seen them, so there's no need, are two movies I decided to give a shot, but I really need to get rid of (owning them isn't embarrassing, but watching them again would be) are Reign in Darkness and Crash Test.  It's just a shame that both are Australian.

Sooooooooooooo bad. If you've never seen an early Polonia Brothers film, you're in for a treat of truly bad filmmaking.
