| | Posted: | | | | All the fully stop-motion films I know have already been listed, but two more well-known films that have a bit of it in that are worth looking at are:
Robocop (the ED-209)
Terminator (the full-skeleton terminator in the the final scene)
I also have the Jurassic Park box set, and on the extras there is some awesome test footage that doesn't look like normal stop-motion because they have somehow incorporated motion-blur. |

I think that's why some of the big-budget SM of late has looked so much smoother. The chess like game in the Millenium Falcon was all stop motion
Star Wars Episode V (Tauntaun - kangaroo like camel things at beginning of film) were stop motion
The AT-AT's and AT-ST's were stop motion in both Episode V and VI |

Fans of Svankmajer might want to also check out Jiri Barta, available on DVD as Jiri Barta: Labyrinth of Darkness - a collection of his 8 shorts released a couple years ago by Kino on the KimStim label, and is region free.
