Whoa! Hold the phone!

Fox cancelled Drive!?!?!?!?

One episode form the season finale?

No wonder I hate Fox. But, American Idol can run 5 nights a week! What shiitake mushroom. Fox needs to go away.

I hope The CW picks up Drive or brings back Justice.

Hopefully Both those shows will be out on DVD with the un-aired episodes.

Man am I gutted, I wasn't even aware that Deadwood had been canned until I read this thread, I've only just finished watching S2 on dvd

And like others, my votes would be for...
Carnivale
Invasion
And especially Surface - why did they give this the bullet???

And great call Kovacs, Lock,Stock... was a brilliant series and as good as the film

Since I retired I've become a TV junkie and it seemed as if liked a show it was doomed for cancelation.
Just the US series though plenty of British others around I'd like to view.

American Gothic
Firefly
Tru Calling
Joan of Arcadia
Dark Angel
Dead Like Me
The Pretender
Farscape
The Relic
La Femme Nakita
Boomtown
Brooklyn South
Earth: Final Conflict
Lexx
Millennium
Nero Wolfe
Profit
The Sentinel
V
Wiesguy

Could not stop at ten how about 2 tens.
What's with Rome and Deadwood, are they gone?
I like to see the first two years of Earth: Final Conflict on DVD/

Why am I the only one to have mentioned ODYSSEY 5? I can't believe I'm the only one who liked it as it was a great sci-fi/time travel show, so have not many of you seen it?

Arrested Development...totally pathetic it was cancelled...it should have been picked up by another network

The Class...I'm not sure if this is getting the axe or not, but it looks like it may which totally sucks because it was hands down the best new sitcom

Dark Angel...not that it should have ever been made, I thought it was pretty dumb, but since they did make it they should have went another season to wrap things up better.

Highlander...should have been fleshed out better in the end. Seriously Duncan didn't even appear in the show for a couple of the episodes in the final season. That equals lame...it would be like having an episode of friends without joey, monica, chandler, phoebe, ross or rachel...

Brady Bunch...I realize the dad was sick of it...but I think it could have gone a few more seasons. But, at least it was an episodic show so they didn't have anything to flesh out before they flushed it out.

Alias...I agree with what has been said with alias. It go stupid towards the end...which is what I think they are trying to avoid with lost by setting an end date. But once again they should have done a complete fifth season, kept it serialized, and answered all of the questions.

Thats definately not the first time i've heard that, i liked her in Into The Blue and Fantastic Four. But theres definately been a lack of choices given to her, in which she can truly flourish

If Gilmore Girls has been cancelled it is VERY recent, as they are still showing new episodes on Tuesday night.  But, if they get Luke and Lorelai back together before they pull the plug, all's well that ends well.

1. Carnivale (wasn't this meant to be 3 seasons?)
2. Deadwood (I wonder if we will ever get to watch the promised movie to wrap up the story)
3. Firefly (cant't wait for Serenity SE DVD)
4. Invasion (really enjoyed this one)

More recent shows that have been cancelled are:

- Drive
- Black Donnellys
- Life on Mars (UK) - kind of ended after 2 Seasons, would have enjoyed more and the end was... lame

It seems to be getting worse if the stations cant reach a certain amount of numbers within 4-5 episodes the show gets canned right away, just when you get into it!!!

Does anyone know of currently running shows which will not return?
This is what I have been watching lately:
Battlestar, Prison Break (no spoilers please still in mid of S2), Heroes, Medium, Jericho, Scrubs, My name is Earl, Supernatural, Numb3rs

Battlestar, Heroes, Supernatural, and Prison Break are all coming back.  Don't watch the rest, so I can't say.

The CW has been promoing the series finale of Gilmore Girls for over a week now.

Life on Mars wasn't technically cancelled. It was the writers' decision to end it after 2 seasons. I'm sure the BBC would have loved a 3rd!
Although, if you haven't heard over the pond, they are planning a spin-off following DCI Hunt in the Eighties!
