Only 3 that weren't new, and those were all improvements.  Nice!

Dragging a headshot from Firefox used to work, but it hasn't worked for me for a while.  Is there a setting I need to change somewhere, or should I do headshot work in IE (ick!)?

Right clicking an image, the select copy, then paste it in dvdpro should work.

Yes, I've been doing that but I miss the dragging.

HAHAHA... alright... I have not kept up with the incremental updates in this thread... so I figure waiting for v5 is probably just the best thing right now..

when V5 is ready to roll, would it be possible to add an idiot's guide to adding the images to your own database, please?

I dabbled a bit with adding headshots when it was a new Profiler feature, but haven't been keeping up with the developments (other than dipping into threads like these).

I dimly remember running someone's script program, that allowed me to automatically add images to my database, and remember being able to compare old and new shots, to pick which one I wanted.

I don't want to overwrite the images I've personally created (about 1100 shots, mostly taken from high quality press images I have access to), so can I still compare old-and-new using a program to automatically add them?

Thanks.

When importing a headshot file you can select "compare" or "leave existing". "Leave existing" only adds headshots that are not in your collection and skips all where you already have a pic.

But if you previously imported v3 or v4, you'll want to compare because there is a significant amount of headshots with improvements.

A slightly more extreme method would be to create a personal database with just your own high-quality headshots.  When you import another collection, you can select "Overwrite All" and then repeat with your own personal high quality headshot database with "Overwrite All".

Would you be interested in sharing your high quality images. In this thread you can find instructions on how to create a database you can share

If you can't locate them, I can dig them up for you.
