| Posted: | | | | Last post was in May, but last login was on August 11 (nobody mentioned this...?). Anyway, this and the e other stuff mentioned confirms my assumption he might have stepped out or a while.
The lack of posts since May is a sad affair, but sadly hardly surprising. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | Two post in five months when people are struggling with aspects of the program here: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=550046&PageNum=3
Absolutely terrible for these users whose pleas went unnoticed but that's Invelos for you.
Come on Ken, show some sort of respect for your userbase that makes your product worth having.
The only thing that has been replied to was the capitalisation of TRON and even then no responses to queries following.
Also, why o we never get told if ideas in the requests sections are even any good or possible? Are they even considered?
Lastly, I am still yet to receive any responses from ANY support ticket I have ever sent. They have always been 'forwarded' and not heard from again. | | | Last edited: by samuelrichardscott |

After 3 months of NO SUPPORT at all from Invelos and no access to my data, I moved on to new software with a developer who stands behind their product.
Good luck to all. I wonder if this person will recommend Profiler to anyone... |

I wonder if this person will recommend Profiler to anyone... Who give's a rat's a$$ ??? His problem wasn't with DVD Profiler. It was with 3rd party software. invelos can't test every single program on the market to see if there will be a conflict with DVD Profiler. Forum member's offered the user help and his problem was solved. Goody for him that he went with other software...his loss. And why do you keep bumping your worthless thread? Does it help you sleep better at night? | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Quoting 8ballMax: Quote: And why do you keep bumping your worthless thread? Does it help you sleep better at night? Nobody forces you to read it. I'll repeatedly bump it until Invelos have the gall to actually respond to things that should be responded to. Every day, people put a lot of work into helping build a database. Sure, they are doing it for themselves, but they don't have to take the time to upload it. One of the main selling points of Profiler is the amount of data already included (by members). Is it really too much to ask that Invelos take five minutes every now and again to guide people when help is required to help them make their product better? That's all this thread is about. The one time I did get a response in this thread, I was told to direct questions to the the support section, where they are 'forwarded' and never responded to. I submit for one reason and one reason only, to help out other users who I have benefited from. As I've said many times in this thread. I have had excellent value for money (and would even pay an annual fee if the support side improved) and the program is excellent BUT WHERE IS THE HELP FOR THE MEMBERS AND GUIDANCE ON GENERAL ASPECTS OF THE RULES??? It's a kick in the face to the userbase that they are ignored but then brown-nosers stand up for them at every opportunity so they continue with it. |

| Posted: | | | | I have to agree with Max on this one. His problem wasn't with Profiler, it was with EMD. That program was causing issues with his system. To expect Invelos to solve that issue is a little unrealistic. It's like adding aftermarket parts to my truck, and expecting the truck manufacturer to fix any problems that causes. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Yeah, admittedly I feel a tool for that one as only read the final post and bits and pieces of the thread not realising it was a third party problem (and for that I apologise). However, I would hope that with several members floundering with the issue Invelos could find the time to just say "We can't help if you've added third party software, sorry..." | | | Last edited: by samuelrichardscott |

| Posted: | | | | We are use at this kind of reaction everytime someone do a little critic of DVDP. Every game or software has its fanboys, even me I'm consider one on the OOTP forum . What surprise me is from whom the comment came as this isn't the way Randy talks usually. | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |
