| Posted: | | | | There is an unofficial iSilo update to resolve the IE7 issue, go to the forums iSilo Forum IE7 Issue to download a patch for iSiloX 432 (the iSiloX 433a DLL needs to be manually installed) Running it now and all looks good. |

| Posted: | | | | Just thought I should mention something...today I went to my DVDProfiler page, and when I tried to go to the list page it was blank. So on a whim I used Isolox clipper on the main page. It worked! Just an FYI, and I hope this works for others.

I downloaded and paid for the current version before I realised it did not work with Palm It visits the page and it gives its vote. We need its support. It sees the discrimination (or racism) in the commentaries. |

Ken, Can we take it from your post then that neither yourself nor Invelos are working on a Palm mobile version? If not, then that's a shame because you're missing out on a huge market.
I have no desire to get rid of my Garmin IQue 3600. Just to register my own in terest in a Palm version. I will try the work around, but it is ashame because I believe that there would be a large market out there for a Palm O/S version |

| Posted: | | | | isiloX works well (as it's the only option on for palm users I guess we are stuck with it) anyway my only gripe is that every time you want to update you have to go through the whole process rather than just updating new entries.... unless there is a way of doing this and I've missed it ?? As my collection is really big it takes ages to convert the file so I only do it every couple of weeks and as I'm getting new dvd's all the time it's rarely current. | | | For every Great Musician, there was a next-door neighbor who said "Man, I wish that guy would SHUT UP !!!" |

| Posted: | | | | morgann, I agree the process does take a chunk of time. I mostly run it when I know I am going out and plan to look for new DVD's, or a place that sells DVD's and might notice something I want. Of course that means I do that 5 out of 7 days! It is worth it, as VideoList Plus the other Palm program I use, does not show covers. This can lead to my buying the same DVD, or missing a new release. Also sometimes I do the iSilox process when I need to fix breakfast so I do not need to be there as it converts. Just my two cents which is worth everything you just paid me. As apposed to my grumblings of a couple of weeks ago, I just thought I would share what I have been doing as a quicker and easier way of updating my isiloX movie list.... Apart from having a complete list of all my dvd's (2000+ ) on my palm I have created a separate list of 2007 & 2008 releases, so that this takes no time to download and load to my palm this way I can update it every time I make a new purchase (and just update the complete list once a month or so) and not run the risk of purchasing dvd's I already have. | | | For every Great Musician, there was a next-door neighbor who said "Man, I wish that guy would SHUT UP !!!" |

| Posted: | | | | morgannn, Do you do this as a text file? Or if there is another way, this expiring mind wants to know!

| Posted: | | | | Hey Bob, No, I like my pretty pictures so I do the large version , that's why it takes ages. The whole collection is about 220 mb ( pretty big for a palm file) but the 2007-2008 is only about 40 mb on it's own. I'm sure there will be a day when I'm in a hurry and I'll do just a text version to speed it up | | | For every Great Musician, there was a next-door neighbor who said "Man, I wish that guy would SHUT UP !!!" |

| Posted: | | | | The only trick/pain is I moved all my 2007 - 2008 to the ordered tab and left all other titles in owned. when you have your list up online and on the right hand side you have the choice of 'all / owned / ordered / wishlist' I selected 'ordered' then select tools isilo clipper etc like you normally do. And then I do the same with 'owned' or 'all' when you view the ordered list on your palm make sure you have 'ordered' tab selected as all other tabs will just show as text Although my 2007 - 2008 dvd's now appear as ordered dvd's instead of owned this is the only way I could get it to work so until I can find another way I'm stuck with it (at least it's fast) I'm not giving up trying to find a better way I hope my double dutch makes sense if not let me know, life would be soooo much easier with a proper palm version of dvd profiler or even easier if we could re-name or add extra tabs. If you want to give it a try Bob just move say 10 or so of your movies to ordered and try that first before going to the trouble of moving hundreds of movies. | | | For every Great Musician, there was a next-door neighbor who said "Man, I wish that guy would SHUT UP !!!" | | | Last edited: by morgannn |
