Well, that's just very sad and quite a questionable rule

It's not a rule, it's built into the program.  The program reads the discID directly from the disc.  My guess is that it prevents people from entering fake ones.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I note the disc id is exactly the same for the Australian and UK BD. I know this as I submitted the Australian one. The Mummy: Universal Monsters: The Essential Collection Main Feature - 73B2A989E23AEB72 - THE_MUMMY_(1932)_G51 - Single-Sided - Double-Layered

So now I'm getting various remarks as to what to do

At this point the easiest thing of course would be if someone who actually has the UK disc upload it properly.

Until then, how do I change the locality? I looked at the information I could edit but apparently I'm missing something. Region is set at A, B which is the same as the other discs in this UK boxset.

There are people that clone a profile, change UPC/EAN and/or locality, covers, SRP, ecc. but don't change the disc ID, so it's easy find wrong disc id in the database.

Indeed, this happens a lot. If I were Ken, I'd change the software to automatically strip all Disc ID's from a profile whenever the "Change UPC / Locality" function is used - ensuring that a cloned profile never keeps the old profile's Disc ID.
