Have a closer look onto the grey T-shirt on the upper chest or the sky right above the skyline...

The original front cover has compression artifacts along with vertical yellow stripes.  The new scans are clearly "significantly" better.

EDIT:  You'll have to resubmit since new contributions have most likely been processed since your last contribution.  Next time, you can open a support ticket and Invelos can review if the contributions haven't been rolled into the next online update.  Once they've been rolled in then they don't seem to have access to review the contribution rulings.

I've decided to try it one more time and I've contributed the images again. Beside the notes I've added a link to this thread.

I bought a new laptop with my income tax returns as I was planning. This thread popped into my mind, Curiosity got to me... and yes I can now see such a difference... and the mentioned yellow lines.  Wow what a difference!

So, if you're absolutely sure that a user is consistently voting "yes" on his own contributions with a second account, I would suggest you report that behaviour to Invelos.

I have had a similar experience of rejection without reason given: I submitted the cover scan pertaining to a Criterion Blu-ray. The existing cover scan was of the Criterion DVD which looks pretty similar at first glance but is clearly different if you look more carefully. I pointed out the difference and the submission received 12:0 yes votes, but was declined, nevertheless, without an explanation given. What surprised me most was that the decision-maker chose to override the clear vote of the users. This is pretty disrespectful in my opinion. I never had a situation where I had a 12:0 yes vote and the submission, even though perfectly in line with the rules, was still declined.

I re-submitted and as of now I have 10:0 yes votes. I wrote a novel-length submission note which I hope is now convincing enough even for the decision-maker.

The most basic rule for cover scans is that they should pertain to the release the profile is about and the decision-makers should also heed the rules when adjudicating.
