Well I hate to do this because I can't stand it when someone raises my expectations for a film too high, but when threatened with drowning I guess I have no choice. I think overall it is the best superhero film yet. It's not perfect, and it doesn't have the gritty realism of Dark Knight, but overall I enjoyed it more. I think it's possible Whedon reached just a tiny bit too far for humor in a couple places, but there were just too many 'holy crap' moments to hold that against him. Besides, the humor works spot on 95% of the time. I would encourage watchers to skip any trailers they haven't yet seen, and to avoid detailed reviews like the plague. But aterrific ensemble film, especially given the caliber of the talent involved. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!

In all fairness Robert Downey jr and Scarlett Johansson have some good performance's under there belt. As for the film itself i seen it today, and what a bland, boring obvious affair it was.
