I never said it was the trademarked 3D logo, but it is a 'logo'. Nowhere, at least nowhere that I can see, does it explicitly mention that it is a 3D edition...which is how it is presented for Transformers, in the examples given. This cover, though differently presented, simply states that it is a Blu-ray 3D...which is exactly what The Three Musketeers example does. The fact that the 'Blu-ray' logo is placed over the '3D' doesn't change anything for me. Just my opinion. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar | | | Last edited: by TheMadMartian |

| Posted: | | | | There is twice the 3D on top, once Blu-ray 3D to the left and then the big 3D Logo in the top center that tells everybody from fare, this is the 3D Edition of the film. So only 3D in the edition.
It is incredible, each 3D film gives new discussions about what shall we do and what not. It would have been much easier when the 3D started and Ken knew that it will take a long time until his next release to tell, write for each 3D film just 3D into edition. The edition is the field to separate it from another one. If there is a 2D edition and a 3D edition then writting 3D into edition should really be allowed to separate it from the 2D edition in the online and local user database. I really can't understand why there was no effort at the beginning to fix such a simple thing and to have discussions again and again.
Edition: Tells us what kind of film it is. A director's cut, an anniversary edition or in this case a 3D edition. What else should this field then be for if you must keep it empty and then have 2 films, the 2D and the 3D absolutely identical in the database, only way to know what it is to look at the coverscan.

So only 3D in the edition. The big 3D Logo has a Blu-ray logo printed right on top of it so, even if it were an edition...which I don't believe it is...having just '3D' wouldn't be correct at all. Quote: The edition is the field to separate it from another one. Not according to the rules. According to the rules, the Edition field is for distinguishing between DVDs, and for indicating special versions and collections. 3D is a different 'format', not a different version and, in my opinion, we should not be using the Edition field to indicate different 'formats'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
