It is Red Heat. Even the studio names, Title and leading cast have the backwards R & N in the opening credits

I have seen quite a few movies where,  because the setting is in Russia they think it is cute to reverse all the R's and N's in the beginning credits.

Which movies? I've never seen individual Russian characters used like this before.

But usually the end credits are done correctly.

Unfortunatley neither a James Horner nor a James Ho??e? is mentioned in the end credits. And the opening credits in the movie aren't done incorrectly only because DVD Profiler can't handle UTF.

Backward R in russian is pronounced yah as in yard. The russian H is the "en" sound, and the backward N is a "ee" sound. so this is playing with the Russian letters.

Agreed. Also opens up a can of worms. Still, how dare these studios not take DVDP into consideration when doing these titles. The gull.

DIDN'T THEY GET THE MEMO!!!!!

Yes they did. I think sometimes Hollywood deliberately plays games with us.

As soon as Profiler supports Unicode we should consider the fact that the (Original) Title is "?ed Heat".

Why bbbbb? The tutor is red heat per the credit block, we are not talking about anything more than a specialized font for marketing purposes, just as with many films. We font do that.

How would that be different from, say, "T4xi"?
