Wow! That is very odd behavior. It seems that there's a disconnect between your browser and DVD Profiler during the contribution process resulting in aborted contributions. Not sure how to fix that other than maybe uninstalling MS Internet Exploder and reinstalling. I don't use Exploder myself...Firefox is so much more user friendly.

It's Firefox I'm using but it also happened using Chrome.

I'm as confused as anyone.

Geeeze Louise...what a conundrum . Last ditch solution would be to uninstall DVD Profiler and reinstall...perhaps there's a corrupted .dll or something...or maybe you already tried that...I don't know .

I've done a utilities check and uninstalled/re-installed to no effect.

What's chkdsk? I'm not the most techie of folks.

chkdsk is a command used in DOS on Windows systems to check file structure integrity and can fix logical file system errors. On NT-based versions of Windows it can also check the disc surface for errors and bad sectors.

Click "Start". In "Accessories" you'll find "Command Prompt". Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator". The Command Prompt window will open. Without the quotes type "cd c:\". Without the quotes type "chkdsk". Without specifying any parameters, it will run in read only mode. This may take a while depending on the size of your HDD. After completion type "exit" without the quotes to close Command Prompt.

Not knowing what sort of virus protection you have but try disabling it temporarily to see if the problem persists. Sometimes they are known to erroneously block legitimate sites.

Tried both of the above to no avail.

I use AVG for virus protection.

Thanks again guys. Going to try a different computer on Tuesday.

You can always try rolling back your current version of Firefox to the previous version to see if that helps. I know of one user that had a similar issue with incomplete submission and rolled back his version of Opera to a previous version and that fixed his problem. Worth a try.

Any particular reason you're using version 3.6.1.1392 instead of 3.7.2.1444 ?

Actually, I don't believe it is...I have contributed profiles for items I hadn't uploaded to my online collection.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

True. Only the voting screen is dependent upon your uploaded collection.

No particular reason really, there were no updates that were of particular care for me in that though I will try this to see if it fixes my problem.

Again, many thanks to all for their ideas and help so far.
