Yeah....long story .

Had Terry not mentioned it, I wouldn't have know it was you.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I had pre-ordered a title from them, back in July, and entered it into my check book.  As I was reconciling my transactions today, I had a charge that didn't match an entry, and an entry that didn't match a charge I knew should have gone through...the Amazon one.  After a bit of looking, I realized that the charge and entry were the same but Amazon had reduced the price, by more than $40, and that was the amount charged.  It's always nice to find and extra $40, so Kudos to Amazon for their low price guarantee...especially now that the current price is almost double what I paid.

Amazon does that all the time.  If a competitor lowers their price Amazon will often match that price; If you have pre- ordered the item you will get it for the price that they have on release day.  I notice it happens often with Criterions and popular items.

Yep, it happened to me just the other day in fact. I had the Zombie Blu-ray on pre-order, and it went down $4 cheaper on the release day. They processed the pre-order price guarantee refund the very next day.
