Every sport has a degree of toughness. Baseball 90MPH fastballs at your body. Taking the 2nd Baseman out with cleats high. Football Recievers crossing the middle. Hockey checks into the boards & high sticking. Basketball going up for a rebound and getting an elbow in the head. Soccer.................?

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

There was also another very gruesome injury i remember.

Can't remember exactly who got that injury, but they played for man u. But his bone came right out his leg.

Maybe it was Sheringham .

Not as painful as this song

The one for my local football team

Some numpty who tried to cash in on Livingston FC's success at finishing 3rd in the Scottish premier league, and qualified for Europe. I was there that day they achieved that. I was also there at the day they let that numpty on pitch and sing that song.

Very muted and awkward applause he got for his effort

OK, I take back my Soccer.....? But watching matches now, it's seems that they are taking acting classes along with soccer practice.

Got that right .

I did, however, record the premier of "Chuck" and "Grimm" and am looking forward to watching those today .

A new episode of the TV series "Fringe" was scheduled to air last night on FOX but it was preempted due to the final game of the World Series. I was not in the least bit interested in this year's World Series so last night I watched a couple of movies on BD and was recording "Chuck" and "Grimm" which was airing on NBC.
