| | Posted: | | | | Simply put if you did not want to contribute it to the online database, you don't not have to. If you do you take on the responsibility that it entails. That responsibility is to confirm your sources for where you obtained your information.

When you contribute, you give other users the opportunity to download the data you contributed. Probably most users will consider those data as correct. Unfortunately, rules, as they are written, ask to modify correct data to wrong data (specially names when all caps credits are converted to mixed case). Personally, I would hate to have to mess other users' databases, and prefer not to contribute per the rules when it is forbidden to contribute correct data.
