| Posted: | | | | I've investigated this and concluded that all caps for TRON is appropriate in this case. Evaluators have been notified. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | To clarify, this decision was reached based on the merits of this particular case, based on the conclusion that the actual title is TRON. This does not set some sort of precedent that titles should be all caps if they are all caps on the front cover. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | It's no more then a ruling for this one particular title only. When saying thanks for the Ruling... it is just another way to say "Thanks for the decision"... not that it is something that needs to be put into the rules.
Thanks for stepping in Ken! | | | Pete |

If TRON is officially accepted we will end up in a huge title change contributions.
=> How many movies have their original name in the opening credits (and cover) written in way that only first letter in capitalized instead of fully capitalized? There are some, I know, but most likely those are minority. So, TRON is accepted. Do we now open new thread for most of the movies and see is it accepted or not? E.g. 80's action classic PREDATOR => Fully capitalized in everywhere except in the end credits, just like TRON. |

Thanks for stepping in Ken! Glad to see some people understand what I was trying to say... |

| Posted: | | | | You know, I don't care what Ken says. It's my data and I'll store it on my PC how I see fit. So it's Tron for me, and I've locked it on my database. What is great, though, is that even though I disagree with Ken (and others) on this issue, Ken has written an application that allows me to make my own decisions on this. Thanks, Ken. |

Thanks, Ken. I have always maintained this attitude about the DB. But, this one should be at rest now. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | Noooooo! I'd just gone through my local and turned them all to Tron...and synced it to my iPhone...now I'll have to oscillate back to TRON. . On the other hand, I can now stop vacillating. | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by Mole |
