I have that and 20 more DVDs with her in it. Those the ones I like best.
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe .. when I watch it, I just this forum I get feed up with
all bickering.
Although it is about the only film her and Burton did that was considered above average.

The Sandpiper was a bad movie. But the music was great... Jack Sheldon's trumpet solo on The Shadow of Your Smile...
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

In checking the what films I have with Richard Burton (1925) I found an in The Wire: The Complete Third Season. The wrong Richard Burton is credited instead of Richard Burton (1968). Fixing that.

I always thought Richard Burton (1925) over acts, to much ham.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof has its share of bickering, it is some how different.
Plus I like Pal Newman, He was just a nicer person.

I always thought Liz was to nice a person for him.
They hit it off in the sack, but in the rest of life it just was as it should have been.

Indeed. But as if the studios would try to profit off the death of an actor

It was 1963 's Cleopatra that Almost put 20th Century Fox in the 'dumpster'  and was totally broke for 14 years until Lucas came along and saved the studio for every after ......

From my understanding most of Hollywood was facing collapse in the 60's as the old way of making films was dying. Which gave rise to the younger film makers and let innovation and independence be the driving force in the industry.

And i just watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Im really getting into 50's films. Lot of the acting in films from that period is incredibly good.
