I was always told, the original way it is/was released as presented in the store(or first come first served if multiple releases on the same day, like Sin City).

So, not knowing the true content, the parent profile should be of the brown "Suitcase".

I just contributed a photo of the suitcase type of box for the Alien / Predator special monster box (see my post on the first page), but it was declined.
What's the difference there? The UPC is found on the suitcase, not on the current box inside...
Only that the UPC is on the side of the box and not on the front or back.
However there's another ID on the front with which you can actually identify the box; "FXBA-29614".

IMO the suitcase should definitely be the correct scan for this box, not the inner box.

On second thought the screeners erred, the suitcase is nasty but per the Rules. I wonder if it could have been due to the photo I see. You probably could have gotten a lot tighter on the actual package than I see in your posting.

We do have at leats two suitcase images i am aware in the system, the Blade Runner suitcase and The Man From UNCLE suitcase, granted they are at least marginally more attractive but...

That's actually not my photo. It's from someone's blog.

My photo looks like this and is cropped: link.

The problem for me is my digital camera which is very light sensitive. I could however try my cell phone camera as well...

That's all I can do.

Also, is there any point in mentioning the bar code on the side of the box?

Perhaps that would be useful for screeners to know and future users who might take a look at those notes, like I do.

If the barcode is not included in the rear cover scan, I always make mention of where it was so that there are no problems.

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

You mean the barcode..?
I'd love to get some ideas of what to write if/when I resubmit the photo and also if I'll bother to take a new photo of the box.
To be generally shut down by the screeners/staff just feels like a waste of time.
It feels like they didn't even bother to think about the rules when they rejected my front cover.

Simply include a note explaining the location of the barcode and why it does not appear on the cover images you submit. Remember that the vast majority of barcodes appear on the back cover, there is a small number of titles that have the UPC somewhere else, the screeners can't know everything about every title, so that ciommunication would be helpful to both the screeners and to users who might actually look at your notes in the future.
