The German community runs their own forum:

They do not like it when German contributors take any discussions concerning their contributions over here to the main forum. So, if you do go over to their forum, you will probably need to stay there as they may penalize you in some way for posting over here. (Just a fair warning!) Do they? |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks a lot for all the input. It seems that The Prophet and others do exist, but my EAN are others. I know about the copy and paste for Crew and Cast, I use that often and tell when I contribute it from which EAN I have taken the informations. The rest is as told own work, the scans, studios, overview and so on. I by myself do contribute each disc when I have all informations because I find when I spend so much time then it would be nice if others also can profit from it, not only I. I am also happy when I find a good profile and must not enter it.
By the way. Sometimes I ask me how this can happen. A 3 to 5 year old film even with no production date, awful scans, just photos from the case, only information the title. Especially now with the iPhone and iPad it is really important and nice to have good coverscans, from the front and the back. You look at them much more than you did it in the Windows Profiler. So we must keep an eye on this. When I contribute a film all is there, not only part of it. Hope I can help when I see such faults to get the database better and better.
Did not know about the German forum as I am used to write there where the producer is. Don't think Ken ever reads something there :-).
Thanks,

I miss a lot of them, added by own contributions about 130 DVD and Blu-ray's, but now I am still missing about 60 German Blu-ray's. I will contribute them over the time, but I sometimes wonder, do so few German's have Blu-ray or do they just not contribute?
I've seen that you've created a swiss profile from a german release, but that was totally wrong, maybe you've done the same with other profiles Quoting SwissFilm: Quote:
Here the list of missing German releases in Blu-ray: There a even more, but they are not relevant to my interests and I dont want any releases with FSK Flatschen | | | Last edited: by nimrod85 |

I know about that. As soon as I did know I changed the country for all films I did or will contribute to Germany as I am buying also living in Switzerland all my films at Amazon in Germany, so German releases. This should not happen again :-). The "Flatschen" doesn't bother me, important is to get the films cheap do not get bankrupt :-). Think the best is to change local the profile from Switzerland to Germany, then re-contribute it and when accepted give the order to delete the Swiss profile, is this the right way to do it? I remember a big thread a while back where a new German contributer asked a question here, and the general consensus he got differed from what the German community normally does, so it caused a big stir and some of the German posters said something to the effect of "please don't take German issues to the international community unless you want to stay there." It was a while back so perhaps that policy has changed now. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." |
