Damn. That's some sad news to wake up to.

Now they're both gone...

Another of my favorite bands is Blackmore's Night.  We drove to North Carolina to see them live October a year ago.

I agree, they're great. I own all of their releases, but I've never had the chance to catch them live. I did get to see Ritchie in Deep Purple once though.

I really love Blackmore's Night, I wish they would do another concert in Belgium.

I'm also a big fan of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and I'll finally be able to see them in 3 weeks with the Beethoven's Last Night Tour.

And here is another one of my favorites. Of all the bands that ever ceased to exist, this is one I still miss.

I listen to Bollywood music a lot. But I will only post one example:

One of my favorite bands is "Tegan and Sara". Here a song from their latest album. But I must admit I like their early work best.

I also like to listen to Japanese music like this one:

Been listening to Mike Oldfield long time... the following clip is from his Montreux gig 1981, which has been released as DVD by Eagle Rock. The whole concert is in YouTube in various snippets.

Duet with Paddy Moloney from The Chieftains, Live from 1983.

Newer stuff, more in the classical genre: "Aurora" from album "Music of the Spheres"
