glad to hear this.. I was sure the one on the right is closer to the one in your possession.,
I'ePMd the original poster in the data contributions and asked him to revisit his post and upgrade the CoO ( usa  not australia) and then hopefully resubmit with these same scans ..
maybe my post here will help convince the vast majority of voters to relook at the scan reevaluate their decision..

ps.. Looks like I got this topic posted in time as the original contribution on all this is not there anymore..

As close to perfect as I have seen so far.

Another reason to hate those BBFC ratings.

This scan has come up in the past and I have locked down my images on this so I really don;t care about the outcome of this, but am I nuts or is the Green scan better?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you one of the "no" voters on this?

As was I, mostly because of the incorrect CoO change but also because of the scan. While I see what you're saying about the green tint, Paul Hogan also doesn't look like a burn victim on the actual case.

At any rate, I'll see about getting a new scan up later today.

Alright, so I've got new scans up and I admit that Paul Hogan is a lot redder on my cover than I remembered. On my monitor these scans (after some Photoshop tweaking) are pretty much spot compared to my cover:

Yes I did vote no , as almost everyone said the existing older scans were so much clearer and more detailed and less red etc etc .. I said in my No votes that "we all love a Green Mick along with his Green hat and green buildings.. because otherwise it wouldn't be realistic any other way" .. and those comments sat undisturbed for close to 6 days .. there was no rebuttal...
That's why in frustration I posted this thread ... Looks like we got some results as there is now a new scan up for approval.. and it looks good .

My point was mostly that if you liked the scan, why not vote yes?

Because as I had said.,,  This had gone around before and was again being brought up.. after seeing 18 no's  and 1 yes I knew it would be futile to vote yes .. So I thought I'd be a rebel  and a dancer..  Who said that movie quote ??

My point is that if you don't have that release, why did you vote for covers in first place? I would have voted neutral, as I do for all releases in my wish or ordered list.

sorry .. (trying to read between the lines here..)  You own and copied the correct one (green) to the data base? ..  the old one  or the new one?  (reddish) ... ??

The scan I have in my local database was the green toned one on the left. I copied the redder scan over it.
