Quote: The rules clearly state that Quote: "The term "Box Set" is used to define any release that includes more than one film." So it shouldn't be included as a child profile. It really is as simple as that, indeed. Wait a minute now i am confused, there is one title or more than one. If only one title the Tim is absolutely correct. Only one title. It is a Keepcase, with it's own UPC, inside of a Slipcase, also with it's own UPC. While I wouldn't object to there being two profiles, one for each UPC, there is no Box Set here. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. I don't even know if the keep case without slip cover has actually been released separately, or maybe that will happen in the future if the slip covers run out. This has happened in the past with Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Extreme DVD (065935-147565) which was released as a metal slip case containing a regular amaray case with a different UPC. | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | I agree with the Martian. This does not meet the test of a boxset. This not really any different than the early days of the use of slip cases, before they started cutting holes in them. The slip would often have a UPC and the enclosed Keep Case would have a DIFFERENT UPC. The "set" would have it's own SRP, once the supply of slip cases was exhausted, then the title would be re-released under the UPC of the keep case at a REDUCED SRP.
So yes BOTH will be in the database, each under it's own UPC , but NOT as a Boxset. I would NOT list the internal case on it's own however, until it is announced, because we have no way to determine what that reduced SRP will be. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | Good point. I checked and the "naked" profile (or is the word "slip-case-less"?) has an SRP that is one Euro less and a release date that is one week later, which gives it some credibility. And also makes it even less suitable as a child profile. In checking this, I also noted that someone has entered the two DVD's (one main feature and one bonus material) as separate profiles with their Disc IDs, which seems pretty pointless to me. But these profiles do not appear to have been attached to any parent profile (yet). For the case of a simple movie, we may be heading to 4 profiles: a grand parent, parent and two children. | | | Hans | | | Last edited: by Staid S Barr |
