Neither do I... I will be watching it on On-Demand! Hopefully they are showing a Widescreen version! They only show widescreen versions of some of the movies On-Demand around here.

- 17 again - Eh, unless you have a crush on Zac skip it (I watched it with my duaghters)

- Angels & Demons - Another Eh, if you liked the book and the DaVinci Code movie you'd probably like this.

- Baby Mama - I like Tina Fey and Amy Poeller, it's watchable but not much more.

- The Hangover - A funny movie that I've recently re-watched.  While it is really enjoyable it may not live up to the hype, and viewing it with a bunch of people does add something to it.

- The Happening - TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MOVIE!  I've likes all of M.Night's movies up to this point, and yes.. including Lady in the Water.  There is also a certain amount of buy in his movies, but this was ridiculous. But then again it's so bad you might have to se it to believe it.

- Home Fries - Not quite the movie expected, it's more of a drama then a comedy (If I remember right).  It's been a few years but nothing stands out from my memory.

- Observe and Report - It's like a cross between Taxi Driver and Paul Blart.  Definitely a dark comedy that not everyone will enjoy.  I did it's from the director of Foot Fist Way & the HBO show Eastbound & Down.  If you've seen any of those then ou'd have an idea what this is like.

- Semi-Pro - Are you an unapologetic Will Ferrel fan?  If so see it, otherwise you probably should skip it.

- Speed Racer - Only caught the first 30 minuutes and it really didn't work for me.

- The Taking of Pelham 123 - I still want to see the original.  It was OK, Travolta hams it up.

- Terminator Salvation - A bit better than T3 IMO but falls short of the massive potential it had.

- Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - I liked ti just a bit less than the first one.  It has some major issues but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

- Up - Loved it!!  I'm a sucker for anything Pixar and this is another one that didn't disappoint.

- Wanted - I really liked it, but others had huge problems with it.  Much of the plot is over the top, which may make or break it for you.

- Beverly Hills Chihuahua -  I might watch it with my daughters if it comes on cable.
- G-Force -  I might watch it with my daughters if it comes on cable.
- Nim's Island - Have the DVD to watch it with my daughters but haven't yet.
- Quarantine - Also own it, but have hear the orignal is better [rec] which I also own but also haven't watched yet.

I bolded my recommendations, but amost all of them might not be your type of movie.  I think since you listed them you are open to them and would enjoy them on some level.  The ones that stick out the most are Up and The Hangover, especially Up.

For me, Baby Mama was unwatchable. I lasted maybe 20-30 minutes into and had to leave...luckily I had only rented it from the library, so no money lost!  I know people have enjoyed it, but for me...just no.

Up is cute, sad the first 20-30 minutes or so, then it picks up and is cuter. For me, the visuals were better than the movie itself, but with the other 2 choices, I'd go with Up over G-Force and Beverly Hills Chihuaua.  The dog and Kevin are very well done and they're my favorites from the film.  I actually really liked the animated short before the movie a lot more than the film itself.  Partly Cloudy if they show that as well.

I'd recommend Transformers, but looks like you already watched it.  Not the best movie, but if you're looking for action, robots and action, it's a lot better than it was given credit for.

As for Speed Racer, once again, not the best, most intelligent movie ever, but I really liked the visuals. It's one of the few movies I wished I could've seen in the movie theater or in High Def.  I went into it thinking I'd hate it since the reviews were so bad, but actually enjoyed it and picked it up at Sam's Club for about 4 bucks, if you do end watching and liking it.

OMG... I am actually afraid a hammer wielding zombie will be after me if we don't watch Up!

Yes, please watch the movie and tell me if it's really a "must have". So far I don't own it!

We have movie night at my house every Saturday - between 10 and 25 of my family members come over and play pool, drink beer, and watch a movie (not necessarily in that order).  Several of them will tell you up front that they view animation as something for the kids and in no way watchable.  I usually let them pick the movie of the week, but laid down the zombie hammer when Up came out and didn't give them a choice.

Over the last few years, we've missed only a few Saturday Movie Nights, so that's quite a few movies.  In that time, "Up" stands as the one and only movie to get a round of applause at the credits.

OK, now that I've oversold it, go get it.

That's actually a damn good description. I love most of Ferrel's work, but this was pretty bad.

And, like most of the others have said, The Happening is sucktacluar.

after all this... the masochist part of me is tempted to watch The Happening just to see how bad it is! But the movie lover in me wants to run far... far away!

Up
From the revolutionary minds of Pixar Animation Studios and the acclaimed director of Monsters, Inc. comes a hilariously uplifting adventure where the sky is no longer the limit.

Carl Fredricksen, a retired balloon salesman, is part rascal, part dreamer who is ready for his last chance at high-flying excitement. Tying thousands of balloons to his house, Carl sets off to the lost world of his childhood dreams. Unbeknownst to Carl, Russell, an overeager 8-year-odl Wilderness Explorer who has never ventured beyond his backyard, is in the wrong place at the wrong time - Carl's front porch! The world's most unlikely duo reach new heights and meet fantastic friends like Dug, a dog with a special collar that allows him to speak, and Kevin, the rare 13-foot tall flightless bird. Stuck together in the wilds of the jungle, Carl realizes that sometimes life's biggest adventures aren't the ones you set out looking for.

My Thoughts:
Now this was a lot of fun to watch. It was amazing looking, it had parts that was sad, it had parts that were so funny you couldn't help but to laugh out loud, and it was very cute. I don't know if I want to give it a perfect rating compared to the other movies I gave a full 5 star rating to... but it is pretty close. Brittany seemed to really like it as well. At one put she was laughing so hard I had to tell her to breathe! It is a movie that is fun for the entire family. I would definitely say it is a must see! I know I will be adding it to my collection as soon as I am able to.

My Rating: 4.5/5

Night of the Living Dead (2006)
In this all new 3-D remake of the popular 1968 horror classic, Barb and her brother Johnny arrive late for the burial of their aunt and walk straight into a nightmare!

My Thoughts:
While not terrible... this has to be my least favorite version of Night of the Living Dead. I found I really didn't care for any of the characters. And I just couldn't get into the storyline they put to this version. I also think they could have went heavier on the blood and gore. It was pretty minimal considering it is a zombie movie. Really... the more I sit here thinking about it as I type this... the less I enjoyed it. As I am having a hard time trying to think of what I did enjoy about it. This is one that I don't think I would bother getting on DVD.

My Rating: 2/5

Quarantine
When a news crew decides to trail a brave fire-fighting team, they never suspect that the first call for help they respond to that night may be their last. Now they're trapped in an apartment complex sealed off by the government. With no way of escape, they find themselves surrounded by frightened residents who are infected with a deadly mutant virus. What happens next is only known because of the footage they left behind.

My Thoughts:
This is a movie made similar to those such as The Blair Witch Project and St. Francisville Massacre. So if you do not like that style of movie then this one is definitely not for you. I personally enjoy that style of movie. It is definitely not the best one of this type that I have seen... but I did enjoy it. First of all I did like that they had Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter's sister on Dexter) in this movie. Since first seeing her on Dexter I have become a fan of her's. I liked the base storyline. I liked how they had fun with Jennifer Carpenter's character's interaction with the firemen before things got serious. I can see adding this one to my collection before too long.

My Rating: 3.5/5

Have you seen the original REC by chance, Addicted. If you like Quarantine, you might like REC, too.

I liked both, but I think the original was better executed.

I can't wait for REC 2.

No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
