| Posted: | | | | Tell me oh master of names, if you can. Why tyhere are several Jean-Claudess and at least one Jena Claude in that cast list, that tim informed according the CLT is Jena-Claude, so if his name is Jean-Claude then WHY does the credit say Jean Claude...might he have changed his name and moved Claude to middle name status. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! | Posted: | | | | You edited you 4.38 post, which admitted the error. But this was too much for you to admit what I quoted just above. Then you tried to show you were correct, and you explained me at 4.41 the rules, forgetting to read my PS that said the same thing. So you edited this post at 4.43 to say in final "I don't want to hear your crap"
Great discussion. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

Please show you screen capture... perhaps R1 editions have different credits than R2 editions, but I doubt that. | | | Images from movies |

| Posted: | | | | mmmmm I only asked a question.... and it is now turning into a `dispute`.
I was not going to type this to avoiding adding more to the injuries but I when I see someone with 2 reputations stars.. it means something..
Regarding the accents (as long as they are readable in this alphabet). I have locked my database in order to preserve the names the way they were credited on screen.
Thanks for the `positive`contribution in this thread!

All things considered I'd rather be in Philadelphia.

| Posted: | | | | Well it bothers me that the same old bigoted remarks come flying out of you again. It also bothers me that Invelos seemingly supports it because it's not the first time by a long shot. However, I am not bothered by the fact that I bother you. If you don't like being called on your bigoted statements, don't make them. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | You know what bothers me, Alien. What bothers me is that myself and another gave Lost the answer. And then the usual whine and cheese show, and the flame baiters had to show up, that's a damn shame. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

Quote: Here's an example from my own library of a French film.
Have you ever heard me say anything about wanting anglicize any of the names or Roles involved, no that's because it's about the Credits not any culture or language. IF I am going to buy a foreign language film, the same Rule applies to them as it does to Englis language. AS CREDITED, not as I imagine it to be. But what actually appears On Screen
Interesting example. Here are the screen captures of this movie. End credits have no roles for main actors, then roles in French for less important roles.
As you use only AS CREDITED, not as you imagine it to be, but what actually appears On Screen, can you document where you found the roles in English "Old man visiting Battlefield" for Michel Robin, and "Priest" for Michel Vuillermoz ???
PS. I know that when there is no role, you can add after viewing the movie. But the least that we can say is that your example has nothing to do with "as on screen". And yes, you anglicized roles. |
