Tough call!

I can say which decade I appreciate the most - the 50's. I love the genre movies of that decade, and Bill Warren's book "Keep Watching the Skies" is my bible.

But - as much as I love them, I can't say that many of them are really great films. At least not in the traditional sense.

Looking at the stats for my collection one would think that the 2000's was the best, but that's just a matter of availability, not quality.

The other peak in my stats is the 60's. Possibly because the 60's is when I started watching movies "for real". 1960 saw my 13th birthday - you figure it out...

But despite all this I would probably lean towards the 30's. My all time favorite is King Kong (1933), and I also love all the Universal monster movies of the 30's.
