With Paris Texas, Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Tool Box Murders and WWII in HD released next week.  Why would you want to waste any money on this title.

Never seen the movie in this offer... but it is all a matter of taste. Just like half the movies you mentioned I can't make it all the way through.

Need to remember...

No movie is for everyone... but every movie is for someone.

Thanks for posting the offer Skip... I don't have blu-ray yet so I won't be able to take advantage of it. But glad for those that can!

If you could explain your taste to me cause i tried looking through your 4000 or so collection and it looks rather diverse.

Yeah i found the film some what entertaining although i found the acting rather dull and unconvincing. The actually story it self kept me from falling alseep.

It could be worse could be Unbreakable which is a pile of utter boring nonsense.

Ok, fine we know you don't like the movie and you are welcome to your opinion. But the bolded comment is way out of line, why does he. me or anyone else need to explain their choice of collection to anyone else.Do you expect everyone in the world to share your taste, opinions and act like you...what a boring place that would be.

My taste is very diverse. I like a little of everything. Though I am not a huge fan of Westerns or War movies. And Slow moving dramas tend to put me to sleep.

I fell asleep while watching Unbreakable... so need to try to watch it again one of these days. But I tend to find something good about most of what I watch.

Like you, I have very diverse tastes...though I do prefer Sci-Fi/Fantasy.  What some people find boring and bad, I can find enjoyable.  What some people find exceptional, I can find boring and bad.

I have never understood anybody who questions someone's tastes based on the fact that they did, or didn't, enjoy something.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Emm well i never stated once ppl should like all the same stuff that's the beauty of film it covers all human interests. I never said he had a bad taste in films and was just confused as he said he did not like those films yet his collection was rather diverse so that's why i asked what exactly his tastes where.

Yes i think unbreakable is utter nonsense maybe  you don't and that's fine.

You just trying to cause an argument for the sake of argument.

Im not a fan ether but was rather impressed with Sweeny Todd. I think Gerard Butler who is finally getting on with his Rabbie Burns film which i suspect might be a bit of musical. Which i don't mind when you have such great stuff as this.

Funny you mention Sweeny Todd... I saw that it is on On-Demand and was wondering if I could stomach some musical for that one... as my all time favorite genre is horror. So I been considering watching it this weekend.

We got the over/under for Pete lasting through Sweeney Todd at 15 minutes.

I got under. (You'll never make it past the 1st musical number! )

It's not so much horror more dark drama outside of the musical aspect. Of course there is blood but it's more theatrical then anything horrifying.

I'll take the over. I too, can't stomach Musicals, but Pete likes Horror films and the underlying motif is horror in Sweeney Todd.

But I only think he'll make it to the 30 minute mark, that's as far as I see him going.

No not at all. I find your questioning of Pete's taste to be in bad taste all on it's own, Alba. No argument, I just found your comment to be just flat wrong.
