Imho you're absolutely correct. This is not in anyway matching to the credit chart.  ... And as this is one of the credits that have to match exactly per rules, there is no interpretation allowed.

Don't be this hard.

Not everyone has the time to look into the movie credits how the crew member is credited on screen and check it with the credit chart.
If there is no special note from the contributor, you've to do this to go sure. But this is really hard doing for all contributions you've to vote for.

There must be always a little bit faith to the other users.

And whoever this particular user is betrayed that trust, clearly, Virus. Which brings me back to the second half of my first post.

Been there, done that.  It doesn't fill me with confidence when I see this situation play out over and over and over again.

Eevn worse when the screeners ignore a valid no vote and go with the majority...resulting in some form of BAD data.

This is also why I think it is uuseful to LIST exactly what the credit is in the notes, we have uisers that are inserting data of their choice that later has to be removed by not communicating with everyone clearly.

Absolute right Skip, this would help the voters. And it could work if you're just adding some credits. But for initial contributions or sometimes complete crews, it is very much work. (Perhaps more work than adding them to the profile)

If such exact notes would be requiered, I think many users will lose the fun to contribute. Don't think to minimize the amount of contributers is very helpful.

Just want to add one thing to my last post:

It's always good to have such observant users as T!M in this case.    And so some/many mistakes don't even get in database.
