Thanks for mentioning The Abyss, SpaceFreakMicha. Amazing that such an ambitious Cameron film has not had even an anamorphic widescreen release yet.

We've had North by Northwest but I would be looking forward to Vertigo and Rear Window, and then others by Hitchcock.

Yes. In general I do not intend to replace any Special Edition, but could break down in this special case.

My "most wanted" on Blu-ray would be The Blues Brothers, with a serious overhaul of the audio track as well. Now that would really ROCK my house!

"Vertigo" and "Rear Window" absolutely + Notorious and To Catch a Thief while they're at it.

Other than Hitchcock: Atonement and Pixar's The Incredibles at least.
