You're all wrong. It's obviously Captain Pike

I can't believe you didn't include him.

Im changing my vote to Archer as number one and Siscko as 2 and keeping Picard at 3.  If there were no time anmolies Archer still would have come first.  There would have been no other captain to follow him.  Not to mention that Archer was the only captain that the "Time Police" (sorry I forgot what they are called)  Archer was a key figure in The Temporal Cold War, there for he saved time and not just Space.  He stopped the Xindi invasion.  He was directly responable for bringing  peace between the Vulcans and the Andorians and the Andorians and the Telerights (spelling).  He also was told by the time detective and it was made clear with evidence in the show that he was directly resonsible for the formation of the Federation.  Kirk of course is number one from a real life perspective, followed clously by Picard.

My pick is Kirk.

But from a scientific stand-point I think it could be Picard.

In the final episode of the series he had to solve the threat to humanity's very existence.

So in a way if Picard didn't solve that then everything that was Star Trek would have never even happened.

But on the other hand, it was he who caused the anomaly in the first place.

What was good about the captain with the odd coiffure: she recruited Seven of Nine.

When I first saw 7o9 in the Starfleet catsuit I was shocked and amazed.

The human aspects were great. Finally we had a porn bitch back on the bridge who could rival Uhura and the other Barbarellas of TOS.

Funny one that - we're watching V'Ger at the moment with the Children and I really disliked Kes and now that 7of9 is part of the crew I find her irritating .....

though my Fav Captain has to be Picard, I'm getting to look more like him each year, gray and loosing hair......
To Err is human, to really louse things up takes a Computer......
