Such stickers are often on the plastic of the cover, and I always take the artwork out of the box before scanning. Never had complaints...

These aren't normal boxes like that but solid plastic boxes. There isn't a paper sleeve, the front cover is actually printed onto the box.

Well, this was a transparent slip cover with the stickers on the slip cover. The rules say to scan the cover with the slip cover so I can't take it off, but I can remove the stickers, which is what I did...
