| Posted: | | | | I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but the Swedish DVD was released in 2003, so if you're looking for an indication that other releases are in the works - don't hold your breath... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Well, more parade rain if anyone was thinking of buying the Swedish DVD - it's OOP. I guess someone might sell it on eBay, but if it happens it'll probably be expensive. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

However, the Danish DVD Alarm Fra Center 3 EAN 5709624010925 is not and is in stock and available to ship from here. (Search for The Satan Bug). Is is Region 2 encoded and has a profile in the online database here. | | | Last edited: by Telecine |

| Posted: | | | | Regarding Crack in the World: This appears to have been released by a Canadian company VEI Cinematic Productions and perhaps in Finland. The DVD is available here (not much detail about it though. May be a Finnish release?) and on ebay here. (at least it has a cover scan. There are two up for sale). I cannot find and EAN or online profile for it. Perhaps someone can find out a bit more information than I can. | | | Last edited: by Telecine |

I did some reading on their site, and it seems they copy stuff (i.e. DVD-R) The eBay one looks suss too (NTSC for a UK release?). | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) | | | Last edited: by W0m6at |

| Posted: | | | | I posted up the exact same links as you Tel, but I edited my post when I realised they were bootlegged. The ones on the Canadian site are confirmed as being such here. Not sure about the ebay ones but I'd imagine they'd be the same. If you have no qualms about buying an OOP bootleg then go for it, I just didn't want to post up links to them on the forum. |

That said, it is always hard to know what the truth is when a company claims a title is in the Public Domain. The copyright law and protections vary so much from Country to Country. Caveat Emptor on this title I'm afraid. I found a nice review for The Satan Bug here. |

Is is Region 2 encoded and has a profile in the online database here. It seems to be identical to the Swedish release (except for the text on the cover being Danish), and given that I could not find it on other Danish sites I checked I suspect that it's actually OOP in Denmark too. Filmkæden does seem to have it in stock in their Copenhagen store, but it's probably just a stray copy (or an inventory error). | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
