Friends,

This is what I get as recorded EAN:

*** Imported UPC 3384442147286

So I refresh in the ONLINE menu, option Refresh Updated Profiles form Invelos

And finally I choose the option Fix Sort Titles in the UPC Menu.

But UPC tells me taht no refresh has been done

It's possible that the DVDs you've imported aren't in the database yet.
What are the UPC numbers so we can check?
Also, did you remember to set your locality for the DVDs?

It is in the online database and downloads OK.

Why don't you scan directly in DVD Profiler?
From DVD Profiler menu:
DVD
Add to Collection
Add by UPC/EAN
the cursor should be in the UPC/EAN field
after each EAN scan you should click on the [Add DVD] in that part of the window and not on [Add now to owned]
Click OK
when finished sanning the different EAN's then you click on [Add now to owned]
you can change the destination by clicking on the down triangel next to [Add now to owned] and select another Destination.
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

it should not recognise your scanner? can you scan directly in to a document? open your wordprocessor and see if you get the scan there when you scan.

Well it seems like, I have created a separated folder, closed DVD Profiler, and then tried to install the UPS (For your info I have VISTA ..............)

Known Issues

  • The install.cmd may not work on Windows Vista. In this case, open a command prompt as administrator, switch to the folder containing the unzipped files, and type regsvr32 ImportUPC.dll to register the plugin.

  • Nobody ever reads those ReadMe files, or the first post of the forum thread for this plugin...
