Has Invelos given thought to developing a "CD Profiler" that works the same was as DVD Profiler but for audio CDs?

I think thats a great idea.  Can't believe nobodys asked for this before

Oh, you know how people are. They never think of the obvious.
Maybe we should PM Ken about this and see when he will be able to deliver this product.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I really wish there could be a pinned message at the top of General Discussion, Features Request, and Technical Support telling folks that there will be no Cd, Book, etc. Profiler! And to not even ask!

I hope Ken won't  develop a CD profiler, ever...
I had 200 DVDs when I bought DVDProfiler; now, after only two years, I have 1500...
I have 350 CDs and no more shelf space...
So Ken, NO CDProfiler please!

It would be reasonable to have an essay on why there can't be a CD profiler.

"DVD Profiler is a full time job for the single developer that the company has, so don't hold your breath."

Maybe, but (and I suppose someone will jump on me for bringing this up) Readerware has programs for videos and CDs, not just books as they started out with.  And I'm pretty sure the "they" in Readerware is just one person.

So I think the question is still legit....

No one ever said it wasn't legit, Sunny. What we ARE sayinmg is that this question gets asked onec or twice a month for the last EIGHT years. If any given user, who has the brilliant question that he is certain has never been asaked before, would simply type CD into Search on all forums, he will find the answer many times just in the past year ALONE. If you google CD Profiler at nvelos. com you will find specific questions. The other issue is regardless of how legit or how many times the question is aksed, the answer this far remains the SAME and is not likely to change.

I could add some further hypotheses on why not but i won't...at least not publicly.

Then again, we simply could answer the fortnightly questions quickly and painlessly, without engaging in histrionics over the newbie's failure to search the entire forum before asking an obvious question.

I mean, the forum search function works so well.

And Skip seems to enjoy his high blood pressure. Sometimes I think it's the only way he knows he's alive.

If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

It must be fun.

Otherwise, why bother writing so much to attack the poor newbies, chastizing them for not searching the forums? It would be so much easier and quicker to write: "DVD Profiler is a full time job for the single developer that the company has, so don't hold your breath."

Must be fun.

I just don't get where torture is fun, but, hey, I'm a Democrat, so what do I know?

ROFLMAO, you clearly do not understand my droll sense of humor. I won't take shots at your party affiliation...though it is so tempting.

Think of me as the comic teasing the heckler...you knopw a little like Don Rickles...you hockey puck.

I know, I know, my jokes are bad. But If i fire my joke writer, I can't collect unemployment.

Hey not sure if this has been asked but this seemed like a good forum for it.  Can I get a copy of the CD Profiler you all are talking about?

I understand your droll sense of humor, I suppose. A more accurate statement by me would be that I do not share the concept that torture is fun.

But I guess that two pages (eventually even more, one imagines) on a simple newbie question is fun.

(I'll leave it up to the reader if I intended to imply that the newbie was simple, or the question...  )
