well the problem is sorted. I ran all your tests (and found I had more security fixes for IE than you..) and downloaded a whole lot more. The others didn't leap out at me with any great differences..

So I just reloaded the layout which I use and the notes now work. (no error when empty). I can't see what could have changed with the notes field (since thats the standard one which comes with DVD Profiler).

but whatever.. thanks for your help again.

I've just recently found that all my dvds give an error in the notes field "This program cannot display the webpage".

This is even for entries where the notes field is blank as well as where I have used the notes to hold gallery info etc (like <gallery=13?1=1:13> )

The notes used to display ok.

Options / display / use HTML for notes is ticked.

If I untick this then the error goes away but the notes then display the raw html.

I know this is the wrong spot to ask this more than likely.  Some of the layouts allow for "galleries" pertaining to each movie?  What is the best way to set that up?  Talking from someone who knows a bit about html, even less about php, and nothing about programming.  TKS.

If you looked in the layouts forum you would find the following thread - Galleries

This will give you the information you need
