Let's not pretend that it is OK to break the law, either. Ken has made the headshot non-contributable for probably two very different reasons (1) ping-pong wars over headshots and (2) legal ramifications. The data that you refer to that we share is on Invelos and I presume that Ken has the necessary legal firewalls in place to protect his company and the program...the same is NOT true of headshots,,,so don't pretend that it is.
What you do is your business, I don't want to hear about it. Discretion is the better part of valor.

Let's not pretend that it is OK to break the law, either. Who said it was OK to break the law? Last I checked, 'fair use' was covered under the law. Quote: Ken has made the headshot non-contributable for probably two very different reasons (1) ping-pong wars over headshots and (2) legal ramifications. The first is probably the real reason. Unlike cover scans and overviews, there is no correct headshot. I doubt very seriously that Ken has gone to each copyright holder and gotten permission to use all that copyrighted material. While it is possible, it is highly improbably. Even if he did, that does not cover you making scans and sharing them with any user that requests them. If you are making scans, which I know you are, and you are sending them to other users, which I also know you do, then you are doing the exact same thing as sharing headshots. Please stop trying to tell people that it isn't. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. I agree. And I'd add a third reason. The headshots would take up a lot more disc space if we could contribute them. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |

I don't know how I missed that one. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
