13 movies which stars the director.
With starring I mean, that they appear in a big role, not just a cameo. Try to avoid listing the same person multiple times.

1) Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone)
2) Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (Leonard Nimoy)
3) Gran Torino (Clint Eastwood)
4) The Town (Ben Affleck)
5) Star Trek: First Contact (Jonathan Frakes)
6) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Kevin Smith)
7) El Topo (Alejandro Jodorowsky)
8) Hamlet (1996) (Kenneth Branagh)

I really spent too much time away from this... I would have liked to have added "Les Vacances de M. Hulot" (M. Hulot's Holiday) with Jacques Tati.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
