What happens on another forum has little baring here on this forum, regardless of who it's geared towards. It's just a bunch of people venting due to frustration where they can do so without repercussions. Was it right to link it here, no, and that's why I think it's good he took it down. Do I think it's a problem that people have a place to vent, no...not at all. Better there than here.

Consider this, when someone pisses you off at work, you can't exactly take that frustration directly at that individual due to possible problems it would cause. But I bet you go home and bitch to friends or possibly your significant other about it, right? That's exactly how I see that thread.

So you all can point fingers at how immature or wrong it is, but I'm sure you do the same thing in real life when someone gets under your skin.

Like I said, the problem isn't the fact that a thread such as that exists, it's the fact that it ended up on these forums. So thanks for moving it.

This isn't my problem with it Vittra, I've done the same myself at some occasions. But my problem is that you, not you personally but a general one, had post personal information there. You (against general you) had posted PM that Skip had send to you (AGY), again I can understand since I've already received one that blow my fuse here and I've talked about it on another forum but I've never said who it was. Why? Because private means private (you can give the message without naming the person or make it obvious). The same was near to happen on my favorite forum and guess what? I and some other ask to lock this thread. Big difference between venting and aggressivly attack someone...

I just find it sad to see some people acting differently here than there...

Well if you're unwilling to explain it to him, would you mind explaining it to me? Since I gotta be honest, that remark pretty much came across as laughing at the whole idea of this thread. You've pretty much made your stance pretty clear so this didn't seem like a stretch. Your first post consisted of "ROFLMAO" and second was "Lock it". But to completely laugh off other's desire to see the rules updated is kind of rude since really it would help everyone... 

So taken like you typed it, "Would you?" would be taken as "Would you care about this thread if you were Ken?" Personally speaking, yes, I would care greatly because your community is asking for help. Just writing and selling the program is only half the battle. Customer Service is equally important. And updating the rules to make it easier for those of us who contribute is a form of that customer service...and really, ultimately helps him in the long run with more accurate and plentiful contributions.

So yeah, if you could enlighten me to what you really meant by it and explain that the above wasn't what you meant, I'm all ears.
