Indeed, 8Ball and there is nothing wrong with it as a local solution, but not as an online solution, there's the rub. Online is As Credited and seen On Screen.

Skip That makes no sense - with the use of the checkbox, everyone would be able to enter the name exactly as seen on screen but still have the name sorted as they wished. I also can't see why this extra information can't be part of the online. @Max, the only reason I questioned your idea was because I couldn't think of a time when we'd need to sort by middle name. However, Synner man's examples have shown me it would be useful, so your idea gets a big thumbs up from me!  |

I won't Rule it out entirely based on what you said, BUT I am not so sure it is that easy when dealing with the Web environment but MAYBE. Ken certainly has more expertise than I in that area. While what you describe is simpler, it is similar in concept to allowing user choice in covers, which would be a bloody nightmare from all kinds of viewpoints.

the only reason I questioned your idea was because I couldn't think of a time when we'd need to sort by middle name. However, Synner man's examples have shown me it would be useful, so your idea gets a big thumbs up from me! Never say never, north. Everytime it will bite you in the butt...real quick. You should see the teeth marks in mine.  That is something I learned long time ago in this game, I think we have some Hollywood spies here, simply out to cause problems...let's see how we can mess them up this time....."I know let's do screwy credits on Rambo."
